Name: Stormchild
Alias: Arashiko
Age: unknown, though chooses to appear 10
Gender: Feminine
Race: Storm spirit
Personality:
Quiet and shy, she is rather bratty when irritated and will fight if provoked. Most of the time though, she prefers to be gentle and happily waters dry places, loving to see green shoots and blooming flowers.
Appearance:
Her human form is that of a small silver eyed child, her long teal hair partially bound in a bun secured with combs that appear to be silver storm clouds. Her kimono is white, chased with silver embroided clouds and rain drop, bound securely with a teal obi. She carries a purple fan and matching scarf that tends to float around her head and arms.
Her spirit form is a softly glowing rain cloud or mist.
History:
Arashiko, or Stormchild as she is most well known (despite meaning the same thing) has no memory of being born. Her first memory is that of an older storm being smiling and telling her it was time to go live her life and water the earth. Since then, many years have passed and she has wandered fulfilling that directive. It becomes tiring at times for her though, as the smog in the air over many cities weakens her and she has to often find somewhere to be purified of these so that she can continue. Despite only existing for the purpose of bringing rain and controlling how it falls, she becomes lonely at times and does attempt to forge friendships, though it sometimes backfires.
*edited after seeing a typo that had escaped*
RP Example:
Stormchild walked through the field, reveling in the contrast of the expanse of blue sky over the green grasses. Although the beauty of the place rejuvenated her mentally, she was still very tired, worn out from the pollution of the last city the stormfront she had been part of had passed through. The spirit of the river in that area had advised all the storm spirits refilling him from their place in teh clouds that they would be well served to visit the bath house Aburaya.
She smiled and lay down in the grasses, nearly ageless, though more than a little lonely having chosen to seem eternally a child. When night fell, and Aburaya was open, she looked forward to wandering into the town and then into the famous place. With luck, she had enough gold for a decent stay, and then she could decide if maybe she was finally ready to settle down... Being a child for countless centuries was getting old... And perhaps she could learn new things if she kept her eyes open.
((Sorry, forgot the RP example. I didn't want to include an example from the character I usually employ.))
If this doesn't get approved, I'm still willing to be Kamaji.
