Name: Liam
Nickname(proclaimed by family): Sparky
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Appearence: In Liam's human form, he has blond hair, blue eyes, stands at about 6ft, 4in, and usually appears to be a timid person. He usually wears clothing that fits the occasion, such as casual clothes on a normal day, traditional clothes when there are special occasions such as a ceremony or a funeral. When he is in his fox form, he assumes the form of a two tailed fox, his golden fur complimented by his sapphire eyes. This allows him to assume either a docile disposition, or a fierce one.
Race: akki-kitsune (demon fox)
Personality: Liam's true personality is a mystery as he seems to have two. He is usually a kind hearted being who would never wish to harm anybody. He very honorable and even more of a hard worker. His intelligence is his best asset as he can figure out many scenarios through the smallest details. There are not many things that provoke him, as he does not snap under almost every insult. He becomes willing to fight in order to protect his honor and to protect his friends.
Histroy:Liam was born into a demon fox family, but since he was the youngest and due to his appearence, he was considered the weakest in his family. The male children in age order are: Mikhail, Nicholai, Akio, Michio, Akuma, and Liam. The female children in age order are: Fasha, Arin, Aemi, Hakumi, Farita, and Sakura. Most of his siblings would usually taunt him due to his kindness or his reluctance to fight, which seems to be the root of his weakness. Since they are demon foxes, they tend to use fire as a primary ability, but to Liam's astonishment, he was able to utilize fire's cold blood, lightning. Although this would be impressive, his siblings seem to find a way to berate him for this, which in turn lead up to his nickname 'Sparky'.
When he finally suceeded in assuming a human form, his abilities seemed to have become more noticeable. It is not that a human form augments his abilities, it is just that he feels more secure in human form. On his 15th birthday, his mother gave him an ocarina, which has become his favorite instrument. His eldest brother, Mikhail, who was at the age of 600, had challenged him to a fight. They usually fought out of honor as Liam had yet to prove himself. As usual, this ended in Liam being beaten to a bloody pulp. His father had recommended he take some living away from his family, not in a mean fashion, but in a way as if it would help Liam harden himself and become more resiliant when it came to fighting. His youngest older sister, Sakura , who was about 100 years old, had encouraged this as she had wanted Liam to become stronger and wished for him to beat Mikhail. She was always saddened about him fighting with Mikhail as it was always hopeless on Liam's end. Liam accepted his advice and left, taking his ocarina, money that he saved up, and even some art supplies with him. This would be both a physical journey and a mental one.
Roleplay sample: Liam had finally managed to stand, looking at his oldest brother walk away, already in human form. Darn it...Some day...I will prove myself... he thought before reverting to human form and walked to his room. Before he opened the door, his father walked to him. 'Liam. I wanted to speak to you.' his father said, sounding stern, yet concerned. "Father...if this is about me losing to Mikhail again..I'm sorry for being so weak.." Liam said, unable to look at his own father. 'It's not entirely that. I had an idea that should help you.' his father stated, keeping a straight face. 'This is only an idea, you do not have to follow it, but I think it would help if you took some time on your own. Away from home and your family.' his father said, not changing tone. Liam thought that his father was lying, but could not say anything. 'Think about it. Who knows? It may help you in the long run.' he finished before walking away.
Liam sighed a bit and opened the door to his room and closed it behind him. He sat on his bed, thinking about why his father gave him that advice. Did father truly wish to help? Or did he just want to get rid of Liam? He then heard the door open but did not need to look at the person to know who it was. 'Liam..are you ok?' a girl's voice asked. It was his youngest-older sister, Sakura. "Sakura...I don't know anymore...I can't seem to beat Mikhail...and father had told me that leaving the family for a while would help...I just don't know what to do anymore.." he said, holding in his sorrow. Sakura sighed a little and sat next to Liam on the bed. 'Liam...I do not see why you have to fight with Mikhail every now and then...It seems kind of pointless...' she said in a calm, yet concerned tone. "I...I have to prove myself to him...and the only way I can do that is by beating him.." he said, tensing up a little. Sakura had a sad face, but sighed. 'Liam...I think you should follow father's advice. I want you to become stronger...It...It hurts to watch you fight a hopeless battle...' she said, putting an arm around his neck, trying to comfort him. Liam turned his head to face Sakura. Before any other words were said, their mother's voice called out, saying 'Dinner is ready!'. Liam nodded. "Thanks Sakura. I'll go tommorow." he said before the two walked out of his room to eat dinner.
((yes, the trend was that Liam and a few others had european names))
