Totoro was a few feet from the entrance and began to hear others inside by the voices. Stepping in the bathouse, he saw workers moving about from place to place, trying to get everything ready when the spirits came. He was suprised to see no one saw him yet. He didn't even know if he should try to talk to them since that would stop them from working. Maybe he should wait awhile when everything calmed down to talk.
