What happened before the famous Harry Potter was born? What was it like when his parents walked the corridors of Hogwarts? Was it like he imagined? Did James and Lily ever become friends? Was his mother really friends with Severus Snape? Come decide that fates of the parents of some beloved characters or make your own. Remember fate is in your hands but choose wisely!
So what of some of those questions? Well it is the very beginning of the Marauder's 5th year at Hogwarts. Lily Evans is still best friends with Severus Snape he has yet to call her that horrible name. Her other best friend is Remus Lupin, the only marauder she finds tolerable well and Peter Pettigrew but he too quiet for her to form a true opinion. Well, Lily strongly dislikes Potter. At least that is what she tells herself but deep down she has harboured feelings for him but she herself doesn't know. What about Black? Well like Potter she finds him to be an egotistical prat. How long will her true feelings be kept inside?
James Potter is chasing relentlessly after Lily Evans who of course turns him down time after time, but that doesn't stop the ever persistent James Potter! Lily has a crush of her own and no it's not Snape, though he is her closest best friend. Who could it be then? Her other best friend perhaps Remus Lupin? Yes, Lily has a crush on Remus but would never tell him, but she can't help but be happy they are both prefects this year.
Though there is more than meets the eye with her feelings toward Remus, they may be there but what about those other feelings deep down? Is it more a reflect for deeper, more hidden feelings? So what of Remus you might ask? Well he himself has a crush on Lily but would never in a million years admit nor act upon those feelings. That would be Marauder suicide and he would never do that to James. Those aren't the only feelings Remus has. There is a new transfer student from Durmstrang Instituate, yes Durmstrang the new kid is indeed a male and some cursiosity might be disovered between the two.
So what about the outside world? Things are growing dark. There is rumour of a Dark Lord growing vastly with power. One student has already lost both parents, from a mysterious death and there is fear and talk more will happen. Everyone is on guard. Dumbledore is now forming a secret order against this new dark power called the 'Order of the Phoenix' while out there this new Dark Lord forms a group called the 'Death Eaters'.
Even things at Hogwarts are heating up. Nasty words are being uttered in the halls such as 'blood filth' and 'mudblood' some Slytherin students make it their religion to make those with lesser blood lives miserable. Some choose to ignore it, some fight back, but nobody can deny times are getting darker.
Students seem to be only safe within the walls of Hogwarts. After the attack at Hogsmeade, made on Lily Evans by Bellatrix LeStrange students Hogsmeade visits have been cancelled. It wasn't all horrible, some good does happen in the worst of times. When Lily Evans was attacked James Potter had been near and saved her, for the first time haveing complete control over his animagus form. Bellatrix was caught of guard and had fled the scene. Lily and James have become friends since the event. How long will it last? Will Lily realize her true feelings? Only time will tell.

It has been a little slow with people being busy, but we do have some very dedicated members who make an effort to be on and we are going to be cleaning up more for those who have not posted in a while.
So some canon characters may be opening up in the next few weeks! The site is friendly and we are open to ideas and new members. So don't hesitate to join. I will be making hard effort on my part to get the site going like it should by advertising. So don't let the small number scare you away. This is also an alternative universe RP so not everything has to go by the books just the major things so history isn't rewritten but as far as relationships etc go for it!
