A smooth hint of silver and blue stood out brilliantly against the light blue sky. A few cotton like clouds drifted about hiding the sun every now and then making the flying form stand out even more than he already was. The grassy fields below swayed back and forth gently. The gentle swaying soon turned into a more violent sway as the beast who once flew over it landed in the long blades of grass.
Once the dragon landed on the ground his form quickly shifted into the form of a young man. His forest green hair scattered around his face and blew around wildly until the wind around him relaxed. His olive eyes scanned his surroundings with great observation. But, soon, they stopped and drifted toward the ground. Here he was. Alone.
Deciding that he was indeed by himself, Haku took a firm and careful step forward. His eyes were now on the ground and both ears were open to any sound. Nobody and nothing. A fine day to take a break.

Someone was in the field though, quite a distance away though and not close enough to see if you looked really hard. Her long hair tied back in a ponytail, with the same hairband her friends had given her the day she left here from the spirit world. She was hidden in the tall grass, squinting up to the sky each time the sun appeared from it's hiding place behind the clouds.
She was happy here and didn't want to return to her home, but in her heart Chihiro knew it could never be possible for a human to stay in the world of the spirits unless she somehow became one herself. But another question was,did she want to leave everything behind to be with those who had helped her so much.
"I'm bored and there's nothing to do,maybe I should go up to the bath house and see if anyone is there".
Standing up she brushed the grass off that stuck to her clothing, when she made sure there was not a single blade Chihiro began walking towards the stairs that led up to the resturants and the bath house. She had gotten part way, still pushing aside the grass and noticed someone standing out in the field.
"Who's that I wonder....".

Haku's senses suddenly spiked when he caught something from the corner of his eyes. At first, he merely froze in place he stood silently waiting for any other movement around him or any other sounds. But his instincts told him to look. So he moved his eyes toward the direction of the motion. When his eyes finally stopped on her, a smile curled over his lips. It was a small one though. Not to mention, a rather amused looking one. But in a moment he let it slip away.
After a moment, Haku decided that he would follow. His feet soon were moving in Chihiro's direction. At first they were slow steps but he soon discovered that he wanted to catch up with her. So, he did.
In a moments time, he took a small jump and stopped at her side. His head was turned upward and his hair floated around his features for a few moments. Then his eyes turned over toward her. The entire time, he kept his lips sealed. But he didn't manage to hide his small smile that had reappeared.

Chihiro let a small *meep* escape her lips, falling on her butt back onto the ground.Well that solved that mystery as the who was in the field, but a frown then curled on her lips and she just shook her head.
"You don't have to be a show off,if I had known it was you I would have said something".
Shaking her head she stood up once more, again brushing off anything that clung to her clothes. The frown soon disappered and was replaced by a smile, jumping at Haku and wrapping her arms around his neck knocking them both over into the grass.
"I should have known it was you, none of the workers would be out here"

Haku was about to let out a small chuckle at Chihiro's reaction, but he was a little too late for that. Instead of being able to stand before her and look at her on the ground, Haku was tackled to the ground in a hug. At first his heart jumped with surprise and he found it rather difficult to get up in his current position. He frowned back for a moment and shook his head while using his elbows to keep his balance.
"Glad to see you're excited about seeing me," Haku spoke up finally regaining his breath. He pushed himself up and balanced himself on his right arm. He wrapped his right arm around the girl to give her a quick hug but quickly placed it back behind him to keep balance. "What are you doing here, Chihiro?"
Instead of his voice holding it's usual seriousness, Haku let a little humor come through as well. His head tilted over to the side while he let his smile come back onto his lips.

"That's a silly question to ask,I came back to see you Haku".
That was one of the reasons for being here, everyday staring out the school window tapping her pencil on her desk was boring. Her parents questioned her everyday of where she went after school, who she was out with and asked when she would be back.
"Even though my parents don't remember this place, about being pigs and such they're so protective of me".
This was her one place to get away from it all,she knew the building in the distance that stood between this world and her world. Each day she would stand at the entrance, just wanting to run back in here but was always stopped. Then she just didn't listen and came here anyways, this is where she belonged.
"I'm not going back home,i'm staying here".

Haku smiled at first at her words. He was glad that she wanted to come back to see him. Even now, it was still odd to know that someone wanted to see him. Haku was not exactly used to knowing that a person missed him. Other than Yu-Baaba. But she only missed him when he was not around to do any of her dirty work. Then and only then. At least, that was what he though. No, he was sure of that.
The only thing that seemed to bother him, was the fact that she wanted to stay here. In the spirit world, that is. Wouldn't she miss her parents? Or the things that she had back in her home?
Haku let his gaze drift around thoughtfully for a few moments as he tried to choose his words. He knew very well that Chihiro wasn't going to give up without a fight. She was far to strong and determined for that.
"You want to stay here?" he asked as the seriousness returned to his tone and return. "What about your home?"

Chihiro finally stood back up,she wasn't the weak scared little girl like back then no she was much more stronger.Okay so maybe she still got scared a tiny bit,she cast her eyes to the ground and didn't dare to remove them from there.
"I don't want to go back home,we made a promise didn't we".
A promise she wanted kept and not broken, the human world was boring and not fun.Yes she knew her parents would miss her,she had gone through so much to break the spell on them when they we're pigs. But Chihiro had made friends here, and she had feelings for Haku that wouldn't go away.
"I came here and renewed my contract, and that is that".

A quiet sigh escaped Haku's nostrils as he looked back up at her. It wasn't like he had any say in this anyway. It was her decision, after all. Not his. Yet he still had his doubts that this was a good idea. Chihiro surely would not want to stay in this world forever. But if she did have a contract with Yu-Baaba, then she may be stuck around here for a while.
"Are you sure?" Haku finally managed to ask as he tilted his head forward. "I know we made a promise... but, you don't have to come back here. I..."
No, that plan wouldn't be able to work. Haku couldn't go back to the human world without a home. He would just be a lost spirit once again. Without a home and a name. But he wasn't sure he wanted Chihiro stuck here. Heck, he didn't even want to stay here anymore. Unlike Chihiro though, he didn't have much of a choice. He had no where else to go.
"You renewed your contract?" Haku asked her. "What if you decide that you do want to leave?"

"That's why I came back,as Lin said once she wanted to board that train and leave here".
Lin was still here at the bathouse though, still working and cleaning the bath's.Chihiro wanted nothing more then to make some of the money, save it and buy train tickets to leave the bathouse and the human world behind once and for all.If the train didn't work out, they could just fly away.
"I want to see where that last stop goes,I don't ever want to go back".
Nothing was going to change her mind, once it was set on something she went foreward and carried it out till the end.

Haku's eyes stared intently at Chihiro as he carefully thought her words and current position over. Surely she really did not want to leave her family behind. When Haku had first met this girl she had done so much to get them back so they could all return home. So that they would all be able to be together once again. Yet, here she was wanting to come back and leave her family behind. That simply didn't make any sense to Haku.
"Chihiro, you're just a girl," Haku finally spoke. "Your family is going to miss you. And you'll... miss them. Won't you?"
This family stuff was strange to Haku. He didn't have one and had no idea how they worked. But Chihiro seemed to love hers very much. Why would she ever want to leave them behind?

"I will miss them, but why does it have to be so unfair....to decide".
Chihiro couldn't go back to Yubaaba now and ask for the contract to be broken, what was done is done and there was no way to return to the human world. Now she was starting to have second thoughts about even visiting here in the first place, she was just so happy to want and come back that she forgot about how her parents would feel.
"I can't go back anyways, unless Yubaaba breaks my new contract...".

At her words, Haku let his head drop and his mossy green eyes narrowed thoughtfully. In his opinion, Chihiro should have gone back home. She should have just stayed in the human world. One day he may have returned there. Then he could have found her there instead of her having to give up living with her family. But he didn't know how long that would be. He may very well be stuck working for Yu-Baaba forever.
"Well, I suppose you'll have to work if you signed a contract. If you do decide to go back, then we'll find out a way to get you back. I promise."
Haku moved his eyes back up to look at her and held them steady. His expression was confident. No change there. Haku wasn't exactly the type to show other's his weaknesses. His worries or even feelings most of the time. Just a plain face. Sometimes a smile.

"If I decide to go back,but I had a idea.......um nevermind".
She couldn't tell him at least not now,all she needed was another lecture.Chihiro had signed another contract and she was gonna work her hardest, she was grown up now at least a little bit and not a weakling when it came to chores.
"We could stay in the field for awhile longer,it's relaxing and calm".

Instead of pressing her and trying to figure out what she wanted to say, Haku held his tongue. There was no use in asking. The boy doubted that he would get any kind of answer out of her anyway. In other words, it was useless. Chihiro had always been the rather stubborn type of girl. That was no secret.
"Relax?" Haku asked as he rose his eyebrows at her. The tone in his voice made it sound almost as if it were a foriegn word. But, then he let a small smile crack. "I wasn't planning on going back to the bath house just yet."
At the moment, Yu-Baaba didn't need him so why waste time wondering the bath house? There was no point in going back right now. Yu-Baaba was basically his sun. His world revolved around her. It wasn't the most fun.
