She had easily snuck out of the bath-house and had ran all the way to her home, there it was....
"SHIKUZA!!!" came the happy cry of her younger sister Miku, who had Kiroku hopping along beside her
"MIKU!!!" Shikuza replied happily and the sisters hugged.
"..So...the great Kohaku has...abandoned us?" Miku asked, and was oh so close to tears.
"...it..seems that way" Shikuza replied softly and Miku started crying.

((ooc: I know you wanted me to join so here I am =) ))
Haku was in his dragon form and up very high in the sky at the moment. He doubted anyone would take notice to him anyways, but, then again, he wasn't exactly something you would see everyday. Plus, he had a feeling that he would want to stay up in the clouds. Especially when it came to being in the human world. Ever since the Kohaku River was destroyed he had a bad feeling about this place. But this time he had to ignore that unless he wanted to be in trouble from Yu-Baaba. The girl had gotten away from the Bath House and it was Haku's job to watch her. That's why he was here this particular day. Searching for her since he didn't want to get punished. Human's always seemed to cause a lot of trouble for him. Chihiro included. He was in a rather angry mood at the moment because of what had happened between the two of them earlier. Chihiro probably hated him. Pushing those thoughts and feelings away, Haku finally caught sight of that run a way. A little growl escaped his throat as he floated down towards her. When he was only about a foot away from the ground he quickly managed to change back into his human form and land safely on the ground. Then he quickly stomped his way over to the girl completely ignoring the other two that were with her. "What do you think you're doing?" he snapped at her. "Are you trying to get me in trouble."

Suddenly the people of the village came out
"It's the great Kohaku!!!" the people cried out and bowed, kneeling to the ground, their eyes shut, praying.
Shikuza smiled, her plan had worked beautifully
"You see?" Shikuza said, and stepped to the side, so that Kohaku could see all the people that worshipped HIM.
"They have not forgotten you Haku..."

Haku stopped dead in his tracks after everyone seemed to notice his little arrival. This was definatly something he wasn't exactly fond of. The only kind of greeting he was used to was if he was in trouble or if he needed to do something. Ok, so that wasn't really considered a greeting but, whatever. He backed up slightly and then tore his gaze away from the people over to Shikuza. He narrowed his eyes at her to let her know that he was not pleased. "I don't care much at the moment," he spat. "If Yu-Baaba finds out that you are gone then their will be no more Haku. The only reason I am here is to take you back."

"I can't return" she replied, actually saddened "...my people have now bound me to my village...I came here because I needed to say good-bye..and they bound me here..." she frowned "..which I'm not pleased about..." her eyes were narrowed in her light anger.

Haku narrowed his eyes again and turned his face away from her to think about this for a moment. Well, he did know that Yu-Baaba probably wouldn't be to pleased with this whole ordeal. She would probably take out some anger on Haku and then be fine though. It couldn't have been that big of a deal. Besides, it wasn't like she really needed this Shikuza girl. She was just some human anyways. He turned his eyes back towards her and sighed quietly. "Fine," he answered. "Stay. At least I won't have to worry about you coming back anymore. You're not needed in the Spirit World anyway. So I don't see any harm in you simply staying."

"...I'm sorry Haku..." she replied and looked away "...just remember...you'll...always have a home here...no matter what..so..I guess you should get back to the bath-house..you're..probably needed there...more than here..." she felt guilt....sadness for letting Haku leave like this...Le'on NEEDED him and she was just gonna let him go...but, she was just a human, and couldn't stop him.

Haku just nodded and glanced around at the village for a moment. He felt these people were such fools for ever believing in someone like him. Yeah, he was real, but he was nothing powerful or heroic. He was nothing close to that sort of thing. All he was, was a servant to Yu-Baaba at a bath house for spirits. Nothing more. "Then I shall take my leave," he grumbled turning his green eyes back her way. "I'm sure if you die like normal humans, than I might see you at the bath house in a few seventy years." He made sure to emphasize the word normal since she didn't seem normal at all. And he might see her. Spirits did go to the bath house before they were put to rest. With that he turned around and started to leave.

Shikuza hesitated and ran after him "Haku...Haku wait!!!" she said and she stopped a few feet away "..please...stay for a few days?" she asked "..I'm sure Yubaaba can do without you for a couple of days..." her voice was soft, pleading him to at least see what the people of her village did.

Haku turned back towards the girl when he heard her saying his name. She had stopped a little ways behind him and he simply rose a brow waiting to hear her offer. When she finished he almost rolled his eyes, but he didn't. Like Yu-Baaba would give him a few days off. Just the thought of it was laughable. In fact, Haku even let a little chuckle escape his lips. He closed his eyes and shook his head with an amused smile gracing his lips. "You really think Yu-Baaba would let me stay?" he said opening his eyes back up. "You're crazier than I thought. Yu-Baaba wouldn't even let me visit. In fact, if she finds out I was here she might kill me. I could never stay here."

Shikuza sighed, then heard mumbling and her eyes widened "GO!!" she said in shock "my people are trying to bind you as well!!!" she pushed Haku towards the exit/entrance of the village "quickly, before the mumbling ceases."

Haku mumble some words under his breath angrily and sprinted forward a few leaps and then took one large leap up and morphed into his dragon form as he quickly reached for the sky. Stupid humans. This is exactly why he didn't want to come! Humans always equaled trouble and that was something he did not want to deal with at the moment. Stupid stupid humans and their stupid little spells. Like they could bind him here in the first place. Soon he reached a high elevation and began to ignore them. Now all he had to do was get safely back to Yu-Baaba's bath house and speak nothing of this.

Shikuza sighed in relief and mind-called him
...Land somewhere near...I'm coming with you she said in his mind and broke through the binding spell and her soul was nearly torn from her very body, but she somehow kept it together and ran out of her village.

Haku growled in annoyance and thought about simply ditching her here. It wasn't like she even belonged over in the Spirit World but she was his responsablity and it probably would be easier to show up with her instead of having her dissapear forever and Yu-Baaba questioning him. Either way, he found it an annoyance. But he waited a minute and made sure he was far enough from the village. Then he headed towards the ground and landed softly on his first two feet and then his back ones landed softly behind him. His eyes searched around and he could feel his annoying whiskers floating around. Stupid things had a mind of their own sometimes. Either that or they were still trying to land. But he waited there for her and kept an eye on the sky and all around for humans. He hated it here.

She ran up to him a few minutes later and hugged him "thanks" she said and hesitated "um..can..I er..get on?" she motioned to his back, it seemed she respected him enough to ask him, her eyes sparkled a bit and she smiled lightly.
