"I think I'm alright for now, Tin. Thank-"
Arashiko looked into the room, just in time to watch the firefly beginning to lift up the pouch of her gold. It must have fallen out of her obi and landed at the edge of the porch when she fell. Good in that it had been found in her room and not in the garden where it was anyone's fair game, very bad in that the firefly was stronger than it looked.
"Hey! My money!"

Tin frowned. He definitely didn't like this firefly. It seemed to be causing a great deal of trouble despite the size it was. "Oi! Freeze!" he shouted it at the firefly, but it didn't heed his words. This was going to require magic, that of which, Tin was not very skilled at. Overall, he knew a few spells, but nothing that could really get them out of this situation.

The firefly zipped out of the room, and down to the garden, intent on being a nuisance.
"You're going to get us in trouble you glowing speck!" Arashiko shouted after it, running to the railing and peering down into the garden. "Evil little thing, what's it's problem?"
The firefly only THEN froze as Tin had said... but in the most obvious part of the garden.

Going quickly to the railing and peering down, Tin saw where the firefly had stopped. Anyone could grab that bag, and it would be worse if it were stolen. Without even a second thought in his mind, Tin vaulted over the railing and landed on a lower ledge a good distance down. He did this several times before finally landing in the garden. "Return the gold," he said, moving carefully towards the glowing bug.

The firefly flew over to one of the taller bushes and dropped the bag right on the very top, where it slipped into the foliage and hung on an inner branch. After depositing the pilfered treasure, it sought refuge beneath a different bush.
Arashiko watched carefully, wondering if the firefly was going to pull some trick while Tin's back was turned. Following his path down, she waited to see what would happen, wishing greatly for a fly swatter.

Having watched the firefly, Tin carefully moved forwards to get the gold and return it to Arashiko. He kept his eyes on the bug as he took cautious steps to the bush. Reaching for the bag, he paused a moment and stared long and hard at the firefly. Tin wanted to be sure it wasn't going to do anything.
ooc|I'm part of another Spirited Away proboard that Yu-Baaba is also a part of. Actually she's the creator of it. But I think I can get you an invite. We need more active people like you around our board. Anyway... I'm going to talk to Yu-Baaba and see if I can send you the link. ^_^

The firefly zipped out of it's hiding spot, attempting to grab the bag again, flashing it's light quickly in an attempt to entrance the two, or to at least make it more difficult for them to follow it's progress. It flew close by, mere inches from Tin...
Arashiko had considered perhaps trying to shock the little critter, but it moved at such speed that she was more likely to miss and with her luck singe a plant... which would no doubt be expensive to replace. Or even worse, zapping Tin, who was working so very hard to make her stay pleasant...
She could only think of one thing to do, but whether it was needed would depend on what Tin did.
ooc| That sounds wonderful Tin. Thank you.

Tin batted the bug away and reached for the bag. Just as he was about to step forward and grab it, his foot slipped on a muddy part of the garden, sending him to the ground. He was getting frustrated with this bug. It was much harder to deal with it than what he figured it would be.

Arashiko growled as the bug grabbed the bag from it's precarious hiding spot and attempted to flee through the garden.
"Get back here you... you... little... glowy bug demon thing!"
Pullling a out a small silver-clear orb, no larger than a marble, from where it had been hidden and suspended from a silk cord around her neck, she muttered a quick incantation. Looking pointedly at the annoying little bug, she conjured a tiny but fierce rainstorm that moved with the bug, the large drops pelting it down. The garden only had so much free moisture though.
"Quick, get it before it can get out from under it! That can't be a normal firefly..."

Jumping up from his spot, Tin dashed over to where the bug was currently. He slid over and grabbed the bag, letting the bug continue to get pelted with large drops of rain. Dashing back to Arashiko, Tin kept the bag tightly clutched in his hand. "We should return inside before it causes more trouble."

Arashiko nodded and went back inside, still holding the orb and concentrating on keeping the cloud over the firefly, wanting to make sure it was at least held until Tin was safely inside too. Casting a quick look at him, she hoped that he hadn't gotten too dirty falling on the ground, and that he wasn't going to get in trouble.
She was going to make sure that the way out to her porch was shut once she got back to her room... she was quite through with being tormented by a bug.
"Thank you, I hope that thing and my clumsiness hasn't hampered your duties too badly..."

Following her diligently inside, he shut the door firmly behind them. "No, it's no problem. I can go change or clean my uniform off," he said, smiling at her. If Yu-Baaba caught him, and questioned him, he would explain the problem. Handing Arashiko her bag of gold, he followed her up to her room.

Arashiko accepted the bag gratefully, and sighed in relief once she was safely in her room. Looking around carefully, she made sure that the little bug hadn't gotten free of the rain and hidden in her room.

Tin checked the windows and sliding door to the balcony, making sure they were both locked. He stretched and moved for the door. "He should not be able to get in again tonight," he said, standing before the closed door that led to the hallway. "Please have a restful stay and please just pull that rope if you need any further assistance," Tin said, bowing to her deeply.

Arashiko bowed back, grateful for his assistance.
"I will, thank you."
Arranging herself on a cushion, she closed her eyes and let herself slip into a light trance, resettling herself after the uncustomary use of her pendant.
